Rollet - Transportation

Please note that when shipping and transporting the cages, it is important that guidelines are adhered to in order to prevent damage or risk.  HRM Ltd accepts no liability for damage caused in transportation of the cages.

  • Recommended vehicle type(s) for transportation
  • If units are to be shipped assembled, they can be loaded onto a vehicle by rolling them up a ramp onto the rear, loading them onto an electronic tail lift, or directly onto the vehicle via a loading dock.  They are not suitable to be loaded using a forklift as the height of the units does not guarantee stability whilst on the forks and may be a health and safety risk.
  • Laden units should be wheeled and loaded one at a time.
  • Rollets are also able to be dis-assembled and palletised.
    • Bases stack on top of each other and should be strapped in stacks of no more than 6.
    • Panels and single shelves are able to be stacked on top of each other and will need to be shrink-wrapped to avoid slipping.  Alternatively cardboard or another anti-slip material can be placed in between each panel.
    • Sundries such as link pieces and spring clips, etc can be palletised, wrapped or boxed
