Other Products

HRM is one of the premier rotational moulding companies in Europe, operating in its own 60,000 sq ft factory premises with purpose built office, tool making, showroom and manufacturing facilities. We operate a wide variety of moulding machines suitable for producing very small to very large plastic products in low or high volume production run.

Our design and manufacturing is quality accredited to ISO 9001. We operate a fully computerised MRP system and we practice lean manufacturing. We undertake much of the product design and development work which would previously have been done by our customers. Our technical team is at the forefront of the development of new materials and processing techniques which enable us to offer our customers higher performance and better quality products.

Our future plans are to continue our growth across an ever wider selection of industries where the benefits of the rotomoulding process are yet to be realised. To do this it will be necessary to expand our manufacturing facilities, which we can easily do on our existing site, and to install the next generation of state of the art automated rotomoulding machines which are much more energy efficient and kinder to the environment With this in mind we are also in the process of gaining accreditation to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.

The flexibility of the rotational moulding process lends itself to a huge variety of products. We currently manufacture a massive range of rotomoulded plastic parts across a variety of industry sectors. We have detailed just some of these products below, but this list is by no means exhaustive.

Some examples of the rotomoulded plastic products we produce are:

  • Traffic Bollards with integral moulded in graphics.
  • Litter bins and waste recycling systems.
  • Large tanks and IBC’s.
  • Canoes, Kayaks and boats.
  • Commercial vehicle interiors.
  • Cabs for earth moving machinery.
  • Under bonnet automotive components.
  • Equipment housings and control boxes.
  • Water treatment and sewerage equipment.
  • Materials handling bins and pallets.
  • Hospital lockers with MRSA killing anti-microbial additives.
  • Outdoor toys and playground equipment.
  • Retail displays and point of sale equipment.
  • Tables, chairs and other furniture.
  • Lighting globes and housings.
  • Garden pots and planters.
  • Marine Buoys.
  • Barrier Systems.

Rotomoulding (or Rotational Moulding) is a plastic moulding process which offers almost unlimited possibilities to end users and OEMs. For this reason, it has been the fastest growing sector of the plastics industry for the past decade. It is a highly cost-effective way of manufacturing low, medium and even high-volume plastic parts. Tooling costs for rotational moulding are much lower than in other plastic moulding processes such as injection or blow moulding, and recent technological advances and developments in new materials have made it possible to manufacture very high specification technical components using the rotomoulding process.
