Roll-X-Cage - Transportation & Nesting

Please note that when shipping and transporting the cages, it is important that guidelines are adhered to in order to prevent damage or risk.  HRM Ltd accepts no liability for damage caused in transportation of the cages.

  • Cages must be loaded into a vehicle with rigid sides. The cages should also be constrained at suitable intervals with packing bars to ensure the load is secure
  • Loading procedure (ramp, loading dock, forklift vehicle, tail lift)
  • Units can be loaded onto a vehicle by rolling them up a ramp onto the rear, loading them onto an electronic tail lift, or directly onto the vehicle via a loading dock.  They are not suitable to be loaded using a forklift as the height of the units does not guarantee stability whilst on the forks and may be a health and safety risk.
  • Empty nested units should be wheeled and loaded in batches of no more than 3
  • Laden units should be wheeled and loaded one at a time.
